The personal story behind Scamy's mission
Scamy.io started when one of our founders realized his mama was constantly falling victim to online scams and phishing attempts. Seeing her lose money and personal data to these threats was the wake-up call he needed. He decided to build a practical solution - a tool that could protect not just his mama, but millions of people from online threats.
Never exactly knowing how things will roll out, he’s gotten better and better at figuring them out along the way. Even though he doesn’t get them right from the first time (or the second), each mistake brings the team closer to building tools people can actually use. Scamy is still growing, he’s still learning, and honestly, that’s the fun part.
Equal parts strategist, salesman, and part-time motivational speaker, he’s on a mission to make sure Scamy.io isn’t just another clever idea sitting on GitHub. Not every discussion ends with a deal, but each one gets the team a step closer to the right doors. For him, growth is less about big wins and more about showing up, consistency, trying again, and celebrating the small steps that add up.
He’s always tinkering, testing, and rethinking how things should work, making sure Scamy grows into a product people actually want to use. Beyond writing code, he’s the one offering advice, spotting what could be better, and backing up the team when things get tricky. The path isn’t always straight but that’s where the best ideas usually sneak in.
